Description of Works:

The supply and installation of steel sheet piles to form permanent retaining walls for Emergency Refuge Areas (ERAs) as part of the managed motorway upgrade.
The supply and installation of steel tubes for new gantry bases.
Sheet piles and tubes were installed using telescopic leader rigs to preauger and vibratory drive. Telescopic crawler cranes were used to service the piling rigs.
The supply and installation of MultiLock plastic sheet piling to form permanent retaining walls as part of the realignment works. Plastic piles were installed using an excavator mounted vibrator (EMV).
